The 2019 BMW i3 only has a 170 horsepower output for its engine. This is defeated by the A3's base engine that can spruce up to 184 horsepower. The all-wheel drive version can even reach up to a maximum of 228 horsepower. The five-cylinder gets a rating of 394 horsepower.
