The performance of the IS vary greatly depending on which personality is chosen, or the engine under its hood. The rear-wheel drive has a 241 hp engine while the strongest one is the V-6 variant with up to 311 hp. Although the numbers are quite exciting, the actual feel of its power is not a thriller. Most rivals can easily outgun it since the engines are not ideal when it comes to refinement.
